The Label Guy!

Here at the Paper Chain, we provide a huge range of print options for an equally wide range of clients and business types.

However, something that I am well known for is my specialism in sourcing high quality printed labels and stickers. Now you may automatically just think of printed sticky labels for applying to products and packaging – and yes, we certainly do offer these.

But over the years I have been asked to find labels and stickers which, as well as looking good and being informative, offer specialist properties and unique performance too.

As well as ensuring that your labels are top quality and that they present your brand identity to maximum effect, depending on your product or industry, there are often many other considerations to take into account.

For example, food labelling must comply with strict legislation and regulations and may also be required to withstand extreme heat or freezing. Then there’s the bespoke labelling that high quality fashion demands, these one-off label designs must exude brand identity and match the quality of the garment on offer in every way.

As you might have read in my recent article, I also produce specialist print for the seafood and fishing industry, producing labels which can withstand the toughest of environments, temperatures and with extremely fast turnarounds. I also provide specialist medical labels and stickers to the health sector; this ultra-technical labelling must perform to the highest standards under challenging conditions and exact requirements.

Quite literally, I have provided labels and stickers in almost every industry. Too many to name here. However, I am delighted to share a couple of recent jobs with you, both of which are very different but both of which have their own unique set of requirements.

Biodegradable tags for tree nursery client

This client needed a tag for trees with clear labelling but at the same time, something that would biodegrade after a specified period of time. A tag which is environmentally conscientious. Bio tags are produced to exhibit the characteristics of plastic but are designed to break down and degrade after a calculated length of time, in this case 18 months. The tags will remain strong and suitable for their purpose but have been designed to degrade once they are in contact with natural environment conditions – the sun, air, UV.

Whether its planes, trains or automobiles or you are a butcher, a baker or a candle stick maker; if you need quality labels or sticker solutions for your products, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements. I have the experience and knowledge to find a high-quality printed label and sticker solution that will exceed your expectations.
